1. はじめに
ScooSoft（以下「運営者」）は、iOSアプリ「SongWhere」（以下「本アプリ」）を提供しています。 本ポリシーは、本アプリが扱う情報、その利用目的、保存方法について説明するものです。
本ポリシーは本アプリを対象とします。本サイトはCloudflare Pagesで公開しており、 アクセス解析や広告のためのCookieは使用していません。 サイトの配信基盤側でIPアドレスなどの通信記録が一時的に保持されることがありますが、 運営者がこれを個人の特定や追跡のために利用することはありません。
2. 本アプリが扱う情報
音声
曲の認識を開始したときに限り、端末のマイクから周囲の音を取得します。 音楽の認識にはAppleのShazamKitを利用しており、取得した音から生成された特徴データ（シグネチャ）が 照合のためAppleへ送信されます。録音した音声そのものがAppleへ送信されることはなく、 本アプリが音声録音ファイルを記録として保存することもありません。
位置情報
認識した曲を場所と一緒に保存し、地図上に表示するため、曲の認識時および地図の利用時に位置情報を取得します。 位置情報は、ユーザーがiOSの設定で許可した場合にのみ利用します。 許可しない場合や現在地を取得できない場合でも、曲の記録自体は保存されます。 バックグラウンドでの位置の追跡は行いません。
曲・メモ・写真の情報
認識した曲のタイトル、アーティスト、アートワーク、認識日時、ユーザーが追加したメモや写真などを記録します。 写真をライブラリから追加する場合はiOS標準の写真ピッカーを使用するため、 本アプリが写真ライブラリ全体へのアクセス権限を求めることはなく、 ユーザーが選んだ写真だけが本アプリへ渡されます。 その場で撮影する場合に限り、カメラへのアクセス許可が必要です。
端末・アプリの基本情報
サポートへのお問い合わせ時に、ユーザーが任意でアプリのバージョン、iOSのバージョン、端末機種などをお知らせいただく場合があります。
3. 利用目的
- 周囲の音楽を認識し、曲情報を表示するため
- 曲を認識した日時と場所を記録し、地図で振り返れるようにするため
- ユーザーが追加したメモや写真を曲の記録とともに保存するため
- ユーザーが選択した曲の情報や共有カードを、指定した共有先へ渡すため
- お問い合わせへの回答と不具合調査のため
4. 保存とiCloud同期
SongWhereの記録は端末内に保存されます。iCloud同期が利用できる場合は、AppleのCloudKitを通じて、 ユーザーごとのprivate databaseへ保存され、同じApple Accountで利用する端末間で同期されます。 運営者が管理する独自サーバーへ、曲の記録、位置情報、メモ、写真を保存することはありません。 運営者がユーザーの記録を閲覧する手段もありません。
5. 外部サービス
本アプリは、機能の提供にAppleの以下のサービスを利用します。
- ShazamKit：音楽の認識と曲情報の取得。照合のため音声の特徴データをAppleへ送信します
- Shazamライブラリ：設定の「Shazamライブラリにも保存」をオンにした場合に限り、 以後認識した曲がユーザーのShazamライブラリ（Apple側）にも追加されます
- CloudKit：ユーザーのprivate databaseを利用した同期
- MapKitおよび位置情報サービス：現在地と地図の表示。地名の表示にあたっては座標をAppleへ送信して 地名を取得します。取得した地名を本アプリが保存することはなく、表示のたびに取得しています
- Apple MusicおよびShazamへのリンク：曲の詳細ページを開くため
これらのサービスにおける情報の取扱いには、Appleのプライバシーポリシーおよび各サービスの条件が適用されます。
6. 広告・解析・トラッキング
本アプリは、独自アカウント、広告SDK、独自のアクセス解析SDKを使用しません。 また、他社のアプリやWebサイトをまたいでユーザーを追跡する目的で情報を利用しません。
なお、アプリがクラッシュした場合の診断情報は、ユーザーがiOSの「解析と改善」で共有を許可している場合に限り、 Appleを通じて開発者に提供されることがあります。これはiOSの標準的な仕組みによるもので、 本アプリが独自に収集しているものではありません。
7. 共有と第三者提供
ユーザーが共有機能を実行した場合に限り、選択した記録が、ユーザーの指定したアプリやサービスへ渡されます。 共有される内容には、曲名とアーティスト名のほか、ユーザーの選択に応じてメモ、写真、 認識した場所の地名、Apple MusicなどへのリンクやSongWhereの共有カード画像が含まれます。 運営者がユーザーの記録を第三者へ販売・提供することはありません。
8. 権限の管理・データの削除・保存期間
マイク、位置情報、カメラへのアクセスは、iOSの「設定」からいつでも変更できます。 写真をライブラリから選ぶ操作には権限設定が不要なため、iOSの「設定」に本アプリの写真の項目は表示されません。
記録はユーザーが削除するまで保存され、運営者が定める保存期間はありません。 SongWhere内の記録は、アプリ内でいつでも削除できます。 iCloud同期中に削除した記録は、同じApple Accountの端末にも同期されます。 アプリを削除しただけではiCloud上のデータが残る場合があります。その場合は、 iOSの「設定」→ 画面上部のApple Account →「iCloud」→「保存を管理」から本アプリのデータを削除してください。
9. 子どもの利用について
本アプリは、子どもを対象として設計されたものではなく、子どもから意図的に情報を収集することもありません。 本アプリの記録は端末とユーザー自身のiCloudにのみ保存され、運営者へ送信されることはありません。
10. 開示・訂正・削除等のご請求
運営者は、本アプリのユーザーの記録を保有していないため、その内容についての開示や訂正には応じられません。 記録の確認・訂正・削除は、ユーザーご自身がアプリおよびiCloudの設定から行っていただけます。 お問い合わせでお預かりした内容についてのご請求は、サポートページからご連絡ください。
11. 本ポリシーの変更と準拠法
本アプリの機能や法令の変更等に応じて、本ポリシーを改定することがあります。 重要な変更がある場合は、本ページまたはアプリ内でお知らせします。 本ポリシーは日本法に準拠して解釈されます。

1. Introduction
ScooSoft (“we”) provides the iOS application SongWhere (the “App”). This policy explains what information the App handles, why it is used, and how it is stored.
This policy covers the App. This website is published on Cloudflare Pages and uses no analytics or advertising cookies. The hosting platform may briefly retain connection records such as IP addresses; we do not use them to identify or track anyone.
2. Information handled by the App
Audio. The App accesses microphone audio only while you run music recognition. Recognition uses Apple ShazamKit, which sends a signature derived from that audio to Apple for matching. The recorded audio itself is never sent to Apple, and the App does not keep an audio recording as part of your memories.
Location. With your iOS permission, the App uses your location when recognizing a song and when showing the map, so that memories can be saved and displayed by place. A song is still saved if location is unavailable or not permitted. The App does not track your location in the background.
Songs, notes, and photos. Song title, artist, artwork, recognition time, and any notes or photos you add are stored with each memory. Choosing a photo from your library uses the standard iOS photo picker, so the App never requests access to your whole photo library — only the photo you pick is handed to the App. Camera permission is required only when you take a photo in the App.
Device and app details. When you contact support, you may optionally tell us your app version, iOS version, and device model.
3. Purposes
We use this information to recognize nearby music and show song details; to record when and where a song was recognized so you can revisit it on the map; to store the notes and photos you add; to hand a song or share card to the destination you choose; and to answer support requests and investigate problems.
4. Storage and iCloud sync
Your SongWhere records are stored on your device. When iCloud sync is available, they are synchronized through Apple CloudKit using your private database across devices signed in to the same Apple Account. We do not operate a separate server that stores your song memories, locations, notes, or photos, and we have no means of viewing them.
5. Apple services
The App uses ShazamKit for music recognition (sending an audio signature to Apple for matching); your Shazam library, but only when you turn on “Also save to Shazam library”, in which case recognized songs are added to your Apple-side Shazam library; CloudKit for private sync; MapKit and Location Services for maps and place names, which sends coordinates to Apple to look up a place name (the App does not store the resulting name and looks it up each time); and links to Apple Music or Shazam for song details. Apple’s privacy policy and service terms apply to information handled by those services.
6. Advertising, analytics, and tracking
The App does not use its own accounts, advertising SDKs, or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not use your information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. If you have allowed sharing in iOS “Analytics & Improvements”, crash diagnostics may reach us through Apple; this is a standard iOS mechanism, not collection by the App.
7. Sharing and third parties
Information is passed to another app or service only when you choose to share a memory. What you share may include the song title and artist, and — depending on your choices — your note, photo, the place name, a link to Apple Music or Shazam, and the SongWhere share card image. We do not sell or provide your records to third parties.
8. Permissions, deletion, and retention
Microphone, location, and camera access can be changed at any time in iOS Settings. Because picking a photo needs no permission, the App has no photo entry in iOS Settings. Records are kept until you delete them; we set no retention period. You can delete records in the App, and deletions sync to your other devices when iCloud sync is in use. Removing the App may not by itself remove data stored in iCloud — delete it from iOS Settings → your Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
9. Children
The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Records stay on your device and in your own iCloud; they are never sent to us.
10. Access, correction, and deletion requests
Because we do not hold your records, we cannot disclose or correct their contents. You can review, edit, and delete them yourself in the App and in your iCloud settings. For anything you sent us through support, please contact us via the Support page.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update this policy as the App, services, or legal requirements change. Significant changes will be announced on this page or in the App. This policy is governed by the laws of Japan.
